The waffles were created by carving upholstery foam with an electric meat cutter and spray painting them. The syrup costume was made from a thrifted black dress, soaked in diluted bleach to make it brown. The apron "label" was made from fabric, ribbon, and lace trimming and the letters were hand painted.
